Kildare Services Seasons Day Programme

Seasons Day Programme, located in the Abbey at Celbridge, supports adults to participate in a variety of centre and community based educational, work, leisure and recreational based programmes.
A team, comprising staff, an adult that we support and a family member took part in the Co-operative Learning Programme at DCU. The Co-operative Learning Team identified Music and the Arts as their project theme. As a result of the DCU programme, participants at Seasons have completed a 10 week Music Therapy Programme, working with music students from Ballyfermot College of Further Education and National Concert Hall. Participants have also attended local musical recitals.
A Sibling Group has been formed to support family members to attend music and arts events in the community. Members, with the support of siblings, have attended a Beatles concert and are looking forward to attending Abba Forever at the Civic Theatre in Tallaght in December.
